
Yoga Nidra means Yogic Sleep / Sleep Meditation. You remain awake while being guided into a meditative state without having to learn how to meditate. This allows you to enter a state of deep relaxation, helping to reduce stress and anxiety while allowing restoration to the body.
What this session includes: This experience includes creating affirmation / intention, breathing and may include a few simple stretches. This session will be tailored to anything you would like to address at the time of our session. For optimal results, this experience is done lying down. This may be on a Yoga mat, couch, bed, or reclining. You may also be sitting in a chair if that is what your body requires - Whatever is most comfortable and supports you. You will be emailed a link to an audio file of your Yoga Nidra experience with suggestions on how to work with it.
Form of Yoga Nidra: Integrative Amrit Method (I AM) Yoga Nidra
For adults who would like to explore what it is like to be in a meditative state without having to learn how to meditate and how this may help with stress and anxiety.
What you will need: An open mind and a willingness to participate. Please wear comfy clothing that you can move easily in, water, a few pillows and a blanket. Eye mask is optional. Set yourself up where you will be able to be undisturbed and comfortable for the session. It is suggested, if you are lying down, to have a few pillows for your head and knees. Setting yourself up in a space where you will not be disturbed is important. You may also have a notebook handy and a stable internet connection.

Cancellation Policy: 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. No shows/No calls will be charged for the session.

Monique is a practicing Teacher/Facilitator/Revealer, passionate about Stress Management & Personal Growth.
Inspired by many teachers of Eastern styles of Classical Yoga & Tantra, Monique has been studying / practicing Yoga since 2002 with a concentration on Patanjali's Ashtanga Yoga (Raja Yoga). She has been teaching since 2015.
In addition, she also studies Ayurveda, the sister science of Yoga, is the creator of Tools for Transformation, LLC., is certified as a Womb Wellness Facilitator, a practitioner of Usui Shiki Ryoho, The Usui System of Reiki Healing, at the Master level and Tong Ren Healing System and an Ordained Minister. Monique is currently in the process of completing an 800 hour Yoga Therapy program along with Integral Breath Therapy
