4 week Stress Management Series

In this class, we explore how to manage stress by using practical Yogic (body, breath and mind) techniques (NOT POSES), followed by Yoga Nidra, a form of guided meditation.

Who is this for:

For adults who would like to learn how to manage stress. Ages 18+, flexibility is NOT required.

What to expect:

Each week will build on the previous week and you will leave each class with a technique to integrate into your daily life. For the final week, you will receive an audio recording of the full Yoga Nidra you experience that evening.

  • Week 1: Movement & Rest: Learning how to use movement & breath to slow down activity in the mind, followed by a short guided meditation referred to as Yoga Nidra. 75 minutes
  • Week 2: Stretching & Relaxing: Learning how to relax the body through slow stretching and awareness techniques, followed by a short Yoga Nidra 75 minutes
  • Week 3: Awareness: Learning how to fully incorporate awareness into what you have learned, followed by a short Yoga Nidra. 90 minutes
  • Week 4: Putting it all together followed by a full Yoga Nidra 90 minutes

  • When: Tuesdays 6:00pm-7:30pm EDT (July 29, August 5, 12, 19)
  • Location: Zoom
  • Duration: 90 minutes with option to stay and ask questions after we have ended the recording.
  • Level: Beginner
  • Pricing: $144.

What you will need to get the most benefit from this series:

  • A device with a reliable internet connection.
  • A space where you will not be disturbed.
  • Wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move around and lie down in.
  • For the first part of the class, you may use a Yoga Mat or a chair as this part of the class can be done sitting or standing. *IF sitting, you will need be on a surface where you are not slouching. A cushion can help with this.
  • For the second part of the class, you would typically be lying down for optimal results. However, based on what is available to you, this can be altered. Some ideas: this can be done on a lying on a yoga mat, couch, or bed. *As the weeks progress, you will learn better what your body needs to be comfortable and what will work for you
  • Suggested: have 2 pillows (one for your head and one for under your knees) a blanket and en eye cover.
  • Classes will be recorded. There will be a Q&A after each class that will not be recorded.
  • When checking with your doctor to see if this is right for you (physically and mentally), you may let them know that you will be doing easy, slow, gentle movements & stretches with breath and a guided meditation. This is a class for the general public and it is up to you to follow up with your medical care professionals. You will be asked to sign a waiver upon registration.

Monique Dupré, RYT, RP III, Min. is a practicing Teacher, passionate about Stress Management & Personal Growth

Inspired by many teachers of Eastern styles of Classical Yoga & Tantra, Monique has been studying/practicing Yoga since 2002 with a concentration on Patanjali's Ashtanga Yoga (Raja Yoga). She has been teaching private lessons since 2015. In addition, she also studies Ayurveda, the sister science of Yoga. In addition to Yoga, Monique has also trained in and is a practitioner of Usui Shiki Ryoho, The Usui System of Reiki Healing, at the Master level and is an Ordained Minister.

Currently, Monique is in the process of completing an 800 hour Yoga Therapy program.

Monique offers one-on-one private lessons, classes & workshops/public speaking, emphasizing stress management & personal growth. She also offers private Reiki / Tong Ren / Yoga Nidra Sessions & Women’s Circles.
